Once a vehicle leaves paved roads and enters mud, sand, gravel or snow, its tyres must meet a combination of demands—including traction, self-cleaning, impact resistance and continued mobility. Built around large tread blocks, open grooves and reinforced shoulders, FORTRAK M/T delivers targeted off-road performance for challenging terrain.

Large Tread Blocks for Enhanced Traction
FORTRAK M/T features large tread blocks that increase the contact area with the ground, providing stronger traction on soft or uneven surfaces. Its specially designed block pattern helps the tyre adapt to demanding conditions such as mud, sand and snow.
The deep, substantial tread structure also gives the vehicle a stronger visual presence, clearly reflecting the rugged character of an M/T tyre.
Optimised Tread Void Ratio for Traction and Self-Cleaning
Mud can quickly accumulate within the tread during off-road driving. To address this, FORTRAK M/T features an optimised ratio between tread blocks and grooves. The open tread spaces help discharge mud, sand and other debris, reducing the impact of clogged grooves on traction.
As the tyre rotates, the tread maintain effective biting edges, supporting vehicle mobility across soft, muddy and challenging unpaved sections.

Stone-Ejector Grooves and Reinforced Shoulders
Gravel, sharp surfaces and uneven terrain can repeatedly impact the tread and shoulder areas. FORTRAK M/T combines stone-ejector grooves with a rugged shoulder structure to help reduce stone retention while enhancing protection in demanding road conditions.
From the centre tread to the shoulder area, the pattern is designed around the traction, stone-ejection and impact-resistance requirements of off-road driving, creating a more complete mud-terrain performance package.
From Tread Design to On-Vehicle Presence
Once fitted, the large tread blocks of FORTRAK M/T blend naturally with the rugged profile of an off-road vehicle, while the aggressive tread design further strengthens its overall stance. Yet when the vehicle enters mud, gravel and unpaved terrain, it is the tyre’s traction, self-cleaning and protective capabilities that reveal its true value.
